How does the sorting by "Relevance" work?

The Arte is a platform that is open to all artists. At the same time, we want to maintain a high level of quality to meet our visitors' expectations and highlight the most interesting content among all our artists.

The relevance ranking is based on a complex algorithm that highlights works and artists based on a number of different criteria—most notably that our visitors like the works and that the art is high-quality, interesting, and unique. Good quality images of the artworks also rank high in the ranking.

Which works are displayed under the heading Works of Art?

If you have a Premium account, your works will be displayed in the categories selected for each work. However, works with comments on image quality will not be displayed.

Your works will also be displayed under the "Buy Art" section (for works that are for sale).

Which works are displayed on the home page?

The home page displays curated artists by thearte.
We select the artists to be displayed primarily based on the following criteria:

• High quality, interesting and unique art
• Quality of photos of the artworks (check for any warnings under "Your artworks")
• Completed presentation with a description of you as an artist
• Previous exhibitions

We select artists as new works are uploaded (including from existing artists) and review selected artists regularly. For newly registered artists, it may take a while before we have had time to review your account. Above all, remember to create a well-filled presentation and post high-quality images of your works.

Which works are selected for curated collections?

We create curated collections based on exciting themes and trends. We do not select artworks for collections based on requests, but rather we curate them ourselves.
